Absolutely engrossing storyline. I recently pre-ordered The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and thought I'd better learn the back story behind the game. So I purchased The Last Wish and was granted what I was searching for.

Its been almost 10 years since i read any kind of book until this one. I read it in a day and downloaded its sequel right away. A must read for any fantasy fan.

Worth a read. This book is the gateway to the Witcher saga it has painted a picture of the world for me and gave me a better understanding of the games. I am now hooked and will proceed in reading the others. Worth every penny.

It wasn't till I read this book that I really got to grasp how amazing the games are and how crazy close they keep to the original books.
